As a distraction from the talking heads, cycling stats and general distress of the Covid-19 crisis, Intramural Theater partnered with Beaubourg Theatre to host weekly readings of completely original, as-yet-unproduced plays written by playwrights based in New Orleans. The series featured a carefully curated selection of scripts that were polished and ready for production, ranging in style from the irreverent and absurd to the methodically realist. Every Sunday night, professional performers and artists from around the city converged over the airwaves and brought these pieces to life.
