— Who We Are —
Intramural is composed of a small but eclectic group of local theatremakers, each of whom brings their own set of specialties to the ensemble. While this is the core group, they’re always seeking out new collaborators who are similarly passionate about original, cutting edge theatre.
Since 2015, Intramural Theater has taken on multiple iterations. Past members of the group include: Rebecca Greaves, Mack Guillory III, Grace Kennedy, Grace Nix, Chris Silva, Max Skelton, & A.S. Wilson.
Tricia Anderson
(Managing Director)
Tricia Anderson moved to New Orleans from the Hudson Valley, NY in 2010 to attend school, and has been (willingly) trapped there ever since, albeit part-time in recent years. She holds an MA in Linguistics from Tulane University and was a company member of Cripple Creek Theatre Company from 2015-2018. Through the years she has collaborated with numerous other theatre-makers in the area, as well as in her hometown in NY, doing anything from stage managing and set building to directing and (once in a while) performing. Tricia is also a company member of Siren Theatre Company in NY, where she works with local historical venues to tell stories of life in the past. Tricia loves creating theatre with the mad and wacky minds of fellow New Orleanians, always finding depth amidst the absurdity and love amidst the strife. In her spare time she dances and juggles.
Bobby Burvant
Bobby Burvant is a New Orleans based musician and sound designer. Though primarily a guitarist, Bobby uses sample modulation and drones to create sounds that range from immersive to bizarre. He has played in several local bands, including TV Pole Shine, Matron, Cultwife, and Dronebaby. He is also passionate about science fiction, mental wellness, and pizza.
Bobby received his undergraduate degree in music theory and composition from Wesleyan University in 2013. He did not participate in theater in his youth but found inspiration in the work of his college classmates. He was especially inspired by Intramural Theater’s 2015 production of What Difference Does It Make?, during which he realized the potential for theater to express the absurdity of existence. He has worked with Intramural since 2019, contributing sound to four plays and multiple community events since then.

She is based in New Orleans where she enjoys making performance art with friends and typing poems on the street for strangers.
